ENROLMENT AT WAVERLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL
Our school can help with your Kindergarten and primary school enrolment enquiries anytime throughout the year. Below is information to get you prepared for your enrolment at Waverley Public School.
NSW public schools have defined local enrolment areas. This means that your child is entitled to enrol in a particular school based on his or her residential address. Waverley Public School reserves enough places within the school for students in our local enrolment area. To find out if you are in our catchment area please click on the following link:
Parents may however apply to enrol their child at Waverley who are outside our enrolment area. Non-local applications will be considered by the school's enrolment panel, according to the department's policy and subject to selection criteria such as availability of appropriate staff and classroom accommodation. Click on the link below to access our schools enrolment policy.
Your child can start Kindergarten at the beginning of the school year if they turn five on or before 31 July in that year. By law, all children must be enrolled in school by their sixth birthday.
